Vegan Lasagna


1/2 cup chopped onions 

2 garlic cloves 

2 1/2 cups (24oz jar) tomato sauce

2 1/2 water 

2 tbsp hummus 

1 can lentils 

9oz package oven ready lasagne noodles

1tsp salt (optional)

1 tsp paprika 

1 tsp basil

1/2 tsp pepper 

vegan cheese 


- In large pot add onions and garlic then fry until onion is translucent  

-add hummus then mix

-add the jar of tomato sauce to pot then fill the jar with water and add to pot

-drain the lentils and add to the mixture

- add all seasonings salt, paprika, basil and pepper then mix

-break up all of the lasagna noodles and add to pot

-simmer for 15 minutes stirring often 

-place in a 8x8 baking dish will high sides, add your cheese of choice on top

-Bake at 450degrees for 10 minutes

cool for 10 more minutes and Enjoy
