I have always had a love/hate relationship with my weight most of my adult life. I have lost weight before quickly and quickly gained it right back. I always thought the less I ate the more I would lose. Turns out I was so wrong.
I started watching Victoria on her journey to get fit in 2012. I was not ready to commit, as at age 58 I thought I wouldn't be able to exercise and follow a healthy eating program. Victoria eventually convinced me to give it a try. I started out with an easier workout program (slim in 6) and started introducing healthy foods and shakeology into my life. I really enjoyed it and moved on to other workout programs (T25 and 21 Day Fix and 21 Day Fix Extreme)
Victoria put together a challenge group and I joined it. It was the best decision I ever made. The groups she runs are so motivational. I feel I can ask and say anything, and I will get positive feedback. I have never been comfortable taking my picture. However, as I started to lose weight, I started taking more pictures. Victoria made me realize where I was and where I am now by looking at all my pictures.
I am proud to say I have now lost 30 pounds, and love to show it off! Victoria has made me feel so wonderful about myself. That is something I've always had problems with also. At age 60, I am now doing more than I ever have in my life. I love working out every day, and learning about new healthy foods. People are noticing the spring in my step, and I love hearing their compliments.
So thank you Victoria for all you have done to make me the happy, active, smaller person that I am today, and will continue to be. After all, I have 5 grandchildren I need to play with and have sleepovers. There is no one better to have on my side guiding me through life than Victoria
